do ya know where i go to get the "web browser setup program"?

birdy May 25th, 2006 07:29 PM

Try this

Restart your computer
Open your browser (IExplorer, firefox etc)
In the address bar of the browser, type http://speedstream

That should bring up the page to log into the modem. I think:)

My modem doesn't support UPnP so I've just been going from your modem's user guide.
Hopefully someone wiser will come along & help... stay tuned:D

Hi Lonely_Azn

birdy ask me to take a look at this thread. I looked up your Modem/Router apparently it does not support Upnp, at least I could not find anything that said it does. It does have a firewall in it though. You probably will need to port forward it. The link below is the instructions for doing that. Do not skip the step for setting up a static IP address. Just follow the instructions at the link below It might be a good idea to print them before you start then if you get confused you can look at them. (Opps I was wrong there is a place on the link I provided that says UPnP click on it and then enable Upnp) and see if it works. You dont have to set up a stattic IP if you use UPnP
