mac os help!!!!!!!! please!
 

hey, i just got a new ibook.

i downloaded limewire for os and when I go to search for something, it says limewire is connecting to the newtowrk.


it tries to connect for hours, even though i have cable internet.

it also says "limewire has detected a firewall" which may be the problem.


i tired using port 6346, but that didn't chance anything


what am i doing wrong, what i do?

i'm on a school network

Schools often block connections to filesharing networks. Ask around, and see if anyone else can connect, or check with the school if filesharing is allowed on their network.

my school wont even allow going on p2p websites.
