some one plz help me

im on widows 98 and i ran a full virus scan and everything! But when i srtat my LW it loads up way to long, and then it freezes and crashes my windows, does ne one know what the problem is? besides the fact that im on win98 lol

How much ram do you have? How many shared files do you have?
If you have a firewall, make sure it's been set up to allow LW full access; see Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link) in regards to software firewalls & modem/router NAT firewalls which require UPnP or port forwarding. ;) I'm not sure if windows 98 supports UPnP which means if your connection device has a nat firewall, then port forwarding is the way to go.

i did that with my firewall...honestly i dont think im waiting very long for LW to load up...ill wait a bit long to see what happens. Thanks so much for responding, both of you!

ok well i waited a little longer and its still doing it..it loads up fine but then it freezes, so i hit ctrl+atl+del and it says my lime wire is not responding...is there ne thing else i can do? i uninstalled my lime wire and java and reinstalled it but its still going it, im using LM pro.

im using lw pro 4.10.0 and java is 5..........whats the bricks on the lil earth thing mean on the bottom right corner??????

It means you have a firewall that is preventing LW having full access. See my connections link above to see how to configure them. That might be part of your problem. It is a problem anyway but might be causing ill side-FX.
