Too Many Connections

My computer whirrs like the duracell bunny, and my browser starts freezing up sometimes and when I check limewire the connections tab is chock full of peers and leafs (and I don't even know what a leaf is). Why does this happen? I can't be an ultrapeer, surely? I've only got a 576 connection.

How can I cap the number of connections?

Sound like you are running as a Ultrapeer.Disable it
