Can somebody please help me???
 

I downloaded limewire last week as a friend said it was really good. But...

When ever I go to search and put in an artist like whigfield or something a little pop up appears and says, "Limewire is currently connected to the network. You search may not return many resukts untill you are fully connected to the ntework!"

And nothing is found in the searchs!!!

But that little pop up doen't make any sense either! If I am connected to the network how come I'm not fully connected??? I'm on-line all day so its not my internet connection!

Can anyone please help???

It means LW is not connected properly! How many green bars do you see at the bottom, or are they all red? See image sample below.
Also, do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface? (next to connection bars)

The bars you sais about are all up full and red (I think as I'm colorblind, the darkest one anyway)! But yes, there is a brick away infront of my world! (hmm)

When you say the bars are all full up, do you mean green or red?

Did you configure your firewall so it allows LW full access (advisable not to have 2 active firewalls b/c they can interfere with each other); Firewall configuration instructions (click on link)

Can you give us a total description of your set up:
1. OS version? (eg: Windows 98)
2. What firewalls you have?
3. How much ram?
4. Hard Disk space available?
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.)
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers?
7. Where are you trying to connect from (home, school, work, etc.)?
8. What version of Limewire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version.
9. Who is your isp provider (Internet Service Provider)?
10. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up.
