debug error
 

I just installed Limewire 4.10.9 and I have no firewalls on and I made sure that the java was upto date before installing. As soon as I start to run the program I get an error message saying that "Limewire has encountered a problem and needs to close..." It then lets me debug or close. Debugging does nothing. For information about this error Here is the error signature. AppName:limewire.exe AppVer 1.0.0.2 ModName:jvm.dll MdpVer: 5.0.50.5 Offset: 000e5064

If anyone needs the technical information regarding this error, please let me know. I don't feel like typing it all out right now.

Is there anyone out there who knows how to fix this problem?

For a start you could try to delete your " .limewire " preference folder (Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire)

If that doesn't fix it, try to uninstall LW and all your Java versions. Download the newest Java JRE offline insaller from here:
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.jsp

Install Java and then re-install LW, reboot your computer and that should have done it........;)
