Exclamation Firewall, belkin

I'm going to try to be specific.

I recently bought a dell e1705 preconfigured with norton antivirus. I downloaded limewire and limewire has "full access" but for some reason is NOT connecting. I went and checked my network connections and up2p connections and they were UNCHECKED, but correcting this has made no difference. I am connected to a wireless network through a belkin wireless g router. I have NOT used limewire before. My downstairs computer is connected to this same network, but by a land line and connects to the ares network, and still works. I have not tried ares on this computer, because i get the feeling limewire is much better. Help. I wasn't able to find any instructions or even see if belkin supported up2p connections in the link "connection problems, check here first". also the test your connection link on that same page is apparently no longer viable.

Also, windows firewall is disabled, as far as i can tell, mcafee is the only one running.

Limewire claims a firewall is blocking it so i'm not sure what is going on.
