Those instructions are for port forwarding your Westell...they also show you how to log into it 
I found this info on an X-Box forum, it's for enabling UPnP on your model. Quote:
Configuring UPNP on the VersaLink
To enable UPNP on the Gateway perform the following steps:
1) Select Service Configuration from the Configuration screen
2) Click the UPNP Enable box (a check mark will appear in the box).
3) Follow the instructions in the pop-up screens.
4) Click OK to Reset the Gateway.
| If this is the only time that you've used LW then you won't have the old preferences folder. Did you go & delete the prefs folder that you do have?
You'll know if you deleted it properly - when you start LW it will take you through the setup wizard again (same as when you first installed LW). |
