![]() I run Windows XP 512MB Ram I use ZoneAlarm Pro for my firewall 5.5GB free HD space Cable modem Motorola SB4100 Connecting from home LW 4.12.3, Java 1.5.0 _06 ISP provider is Texas MidGulf Cablevision I do not share my connection This is a new problem for an experienced user. And the problem only seemed to arise when I updated versions. When I go to your test link it doesn't come up. I get the "Page cannot be dispayed" message. Thanks, willdeb |

![]() Not being able to reach the site via 6346 means that your ISP is blocking this port. Try to change the listening port to a higher range, such as 64059, 47058, or something like that. You will have to configurate your firewall accordingly. If the ZoneAlarm Pro is the smae as NIS follow this link on how to do so: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=30505 That might do the trick..... ![]()

![]() Ok, I'm pretty much at wit's end now. I uninstalled LW and Java. I deleted the preferences folder. I downloaded and manually installed the latest version of Java and then reinstalled LW. I turned off my Norton System Works, shutdown my Zone Alarm, and turned off Windows firewall. After all that, I still CAN'T CONNECT! Oh, And I still can't get to that test link in the previous reply. And I tried listening to different ports and that did no good either. I'm baffled. If anyone has cured a similar problem, please let me know!!! -willdeb |
