Nothing i do works, Can't connect

I've been trying for months on and off trying to get limewire to work with no luck. It had worked previously a few months back for a long time before that. Then one day it stopped working. I've done everything. Did port test, that worked it said, did port forwording, did firewall config, did the delete the limewire directory, my isp isnt blocking it according to them, the program Ares works on my computer no matter what port i use on that. limewire wont work on any port, my router is using upnp and it is activated, limewire shows a brick wall no matter if my windows firewall is on or off. I dont know what's blocking it. My router has no firewall that i know of, or read of. The thing is, why would it just stop working one day, when it worked flawlessly before? someone please help

i have:

Windows XP SP2
No other firewalls other than windows
Wireless Internet (Netpoint Communications)
Linksys Router BEFSR41 v2
newest Limewire version (4.12.3)
connect at home, 2 computers on router
latest Java

1. Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.)

2. You might also want to see this & do the suggested remedy: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showthread.php?t=57435

i've already mentioned, i tried deleting the limewire preference file or folder, didnt work, the patch doesn't work either, forgot to mention i tried that too.

Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface?

If yes, then you have a firewall problem. Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link) Else your isp is affecting you.

Who is your isp (internet service provider)?

my isp is Netpoint Communications

yes, there is a brick wall there

i already did everything in that link
i set up my windows firewall to allow it (the only firewall i have), i even tried turning it off completly, nothing worked
i did port forwarding
i have upnp on
i'me pretty sure its not that, since i had previously worked, with the same router, computer, internet, etc.
my isp said they are not blocking traffic to it

Try changing your Listening port to one between 49152 - 65535 such as 64049. ie: Go to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>Advanced>Firewalls & change it there. See if the brick wall disappears.
