Pro OK, but connexion only excellent !

Hi every one,
I'm on Mac OS X 10.4.6, and for quite sometime, using LimeWire Pro... Works fine particularly to upload my music, (since it seems that there is not that much amount of really good stuff to download from gnutella, I use eDonkey to download good films... it takes only a few days instead of few weeks... when there is the option on here).
Anyway, as it is I try to use always the last version, hoping that one good day, it'll work better, and so I did update to 4.12.3 Pro.
first, there was some difficulty to re-unlock pro... I would have thought it was automatic, but no, and I had to download it 3 times and re-install it each time, to finally have the "pro" written on top of the window.
But then, after I put it off for some time, when it started again, it would continuously display "starting connection"... put it off again few times, then I had for very long (hours !) "poor connexion... put it off again, and now I've got "excellent connexion", but never "turbo connexion"...
Quite franckly, I'm not so shure it makes that much of a difference, betwen excellent and turbo, but something is not right anyway... and I wonder what.
The built in fire wall is correctly configured, and it says so on the window, since it says that no fire wall is detected...
The thing is that it worked without any problem with the precedent version, so, I do wonder if it's not something in that updated one, creating the trouble...
