 My port isn't and hasn't appeared to be 6346 at any point. It always has 5 digits. Should I change it to 6346 and see if that works?  |

| If it's still downlding then leave it for the time being. Next time, if it has the same problem then yes, try changing the port. Who knows, perhaps a different day it will be different with any luck. I'm surprised you're still able to downld though. |

| It's now just saying that I don't appear to have an active Internet connection. That could be the problem. I'm on Internet Explorer, though. What should I do to make sure it is connected to the internet? It's allowed on my Firewall. Anything else I should do? |

| The firewall issue is probably the issue for connecting. Do you have it set to UPnP for connecting in the firewall settings? Play around with it until it behaves. |

| Yes, it's set for UPnP. And I've been meddling with it for a while, but to no avail.  |

 gnutella 1 can any one tell me why i cannot connect to gnutella 1 it is on auto connect in my settings but shows up as disconnected any one any suggestions |
