Default Proxy settings problem with secure tunnel, need help!!!

Its goes like this when i connect to LW w/o proxy well it works very fine and
downloading also working and no wall in front the globe. So i set up my proxy(thru secure-tunnel), i exit LW and re-start again and connect it, the wall is there and i got alot of seach but i cant download in a way that it keep saying need more sources.

When i switch to no proxy setting and download the same song it is working

so i need to know how to configure the proxy???
i try to forward all ports in the secure tunnel still not working

proxy and port forwarding are diffrent, just open router settings go to port forwarding and look where you can enable and type in ext and int ports, type limewires in and set tp tcp if have to, then it should work, dont worry about proxy because thats totaly diffrent and so is tunneling, forwarding just alows the router firewall to stop blocking these two ports lw uses

thats up to your router firewall , a proxy just lets use multiple computers for same ip for sharing the net, linksys routers do this just fine my old router didnt and masking your routers ports isnt really a big deal

I don't know about proxies but did you set the proxy settings in LW's advanced settings?

Red face

its still not going to mask the router ports at main level just within his own network, thats what proxy is, not many people use them anymore, so say accounting cant access manager computer groups etc etc

ya i have done all neccessary settings in LW already but i think connection through proxy is always limited as not as good as direct connection thru ISP

as what i noticed is that only when download from at least 4 host i can get connected with a speed of 2-5kb/s
