f***ing problem
 

Limewire keeps starting up if I click exit. I tried turning off the connect at startup option, but it doesn't work. I am getting f***ing agitated, and i need some help.

here is the problem: I've only been downloading mp3 and mpg's this year.

Register at Norbie's site & follow his directions & get your system back in order; NorbiesWorld (click on link). Then update to LW 4.12.4

thnx for the advice, ill do it now, but here is the problem:A) I already updated and B) I don't want it anymore if it keeps doing so.

It won't keep doing it once Norbie has fixed your problem. I notice your bug report is for LW 4.12.3, not 4.12.4. But don't install the new version until you have sorted the problem at Norbie's site. ;)

Oh perhaps I'm wrong. I thought LW 4.12.4 was supposed to be released a couple of days ago. Oh well.

Like I said before, the link doesn't work. and that is weird because yesterday i downloaded 4.12.4. Maybe there is a glitch in the system that keeps it at 4.12.3. Should i see if it really is 4.12.3 and update it, or what? (and if you give me the instructions on how to get to link, ill go on the homepage.)

Thanks, and I checked it out, all he says is to download Hijackthis. I did, but it doesn't read anything from Limewire.

lol:D so you're an expert at using HijackThis. Well you're obviously smart enough to fix the problem yourself then. Cos it ain't a LW problem unless you have set your LW options to close only when a file has finished transfering.

HijackThis reads your system registration keys and all other relevant information, which you should post as a new thread at the Norbies Forum, so he can tell you whether there is any culprit hidding in your system.
To post the log you have to register (for free) at Norbies site and when he gets online, he will sort it out for you...

Well no, but i checked what the files were and all the instructions(currently waiting for him to post back.) And here's the thing: I'm not downloading anything currently.
