There is a possibility that this happens because of some protection you have for your PC
What kind of anti spyware or antivirus programs do you use ?
Also what firewall did you turn of ?
If it was a hardware firewall (e.g. your router or even your ISP) Limewire should be able to open anyway and just not connect
There is no need to be running with no firewall. You can add Limewire.exe as an exception instead of turning it of. You will be leaving your PC open for malware when on the internet if you do have it turned off |
