My Limewire Won`t Open
 

I my old Limewire wouldn`t open when I double-clicked it, so I got rid of it and downloaded the newest Limewire, Version 12. I still couldn`t gain access when I clicked on it though. Any suggestions?

Fixes for LimeWire

Has LW ever worked or have you just downloaded it? You could also try removing your current version of Java & reinstalling, using the offline installer (there's a link for that above).
Try changing compatibility to Win 2000 or NT.

Are you using any antispyware? Some will see LW as a threat & will stop it from opening. If this is the case, make sure LW is on the list of exceptions/allowed apps. If all else fails, disable the antispyware & see if LW will open:)

LimeWire always worked intill one day it wouldn't open. I redownloaded it like five times and redownloaded Java always like 5 times. And if my anti-spy ware picked it up it would come up with a warning say spyware was detected.
