Default Firewall Problems

I am having trouble with my firewall. I have 2 firewalls, my Windows is disabled and my Norton Antivirus is enable. I can't figure out how to configure it for LW. My OS is XP. Any help would be much appreciated.

No, I don't have those options that are listed on that site. Even when I disable Norton, LW says that I still have a firewall up.

double click on the NPF icon on your desktop, or right click on the globe in your taskbar and choose NPF...then hilight 'Personal Firewall' and choose configure...then choose Program Control...in that screen untick the box that says 'turn on automatic program control' (this is for security reasons...when anything tries to access the net for the first time, NPF will stop it and ask you what to do about it...this allows you to determine just what it is that you want online...as an example, I NEVER allow any media players to do anything online...period...etc)...after unticking that box, have a looksy at the list of programs that are already internet enabled...delete any that refer to LW, and maybe any that you feel 'funny' about..OK...now close up the NPF gui, and start LW...you should get 2 queries about LW, and JAVA...of course allow those online, and choose always...

I think if found the problem. My Router has a firewall. I just don't know what to enter into these fields.

Under source and destination of Interface I have the options of LAN and WAN. Under protocol I have the options of TCP, UDP, and ICMP.

It didn't work at first, but when I went to filters after virtual server and enabled my static IP and ports then it took the wall down from in front of the globe. Thank you very much. I couldn't have been even close to doing this without you.

My internet connection is at 100Mbps. How fast should I be able to upload and download files?

Wow, now that I am downloading a movie, it's going over 100kb/s which is way better than when I was downloading one at an average of 12kb/s yesterday. Thanks a lot why.

Amazing!
Still, it's not always easy to understand. I followed the advice on how to get rid of the bloody brickwall. (listen to port etc)
So now that I have put my settings right, seemingly, there are days when it's there, others when it isn't. Strange.
Yesterday for instance the brickwall was there , the download speed was around 5 kb/s, 15 at the most; today no brickwall in front of the globe. Why? I don't know.
So I wanted to check whether I was as lucky as Malice and made an experiment. I found a movie I could download and checked: 30 kb/s was the fastest the download speed went. It was 2 hours ago.
I checked just now, the speed is
Still, if anybody can explain why the brickwall sometimes appear, sometimes doesn't... that'd be fine to know
