 yeah, I've fussed with the ip settings in LW. Mumbo Jumbo. All that crap is confusing. I've gone into LW, and told it to use an Http proxy, and input the proxy and gate I've been using. Now, it doesn't want to work. You are right about the IP address though. 192.xxx.x.xxx..... The IT guy does not run Lime Wire. He's a nerd, and doesn't even know what it is. The thing is, I was running it just fine, before. He has not changed anything, and I've always had a 192 IP address. There is a domain, that all the OTHER computers are hooked into. I am NOT part of the domain, but we all share the same connection.  |
