connection problems

my limewire all of a sudden stopped downloading songs. and, in addition, it keeps deleting my songs off itself or deletes itself completely.


what do i do?

Ok what do you mean when you say it stopped downloading.... when you click to download what happens? Does the file move into the download pane? If it does, does it sit 'connecting' forever & never download? Or does the file not move to the download pane?

You say it deletes songs off itself... do you mean songs that have been in the library for some time? Do they also disappear from your saved folder? Have you used your computer's search to look for some of the missing file names?

LW deletes itself completely.... do you mean that you lose the .exe file?
Sorry but you'll have to give a bit more info because it's no good us trying to guess!

Is your version from www.limewire.com? Are you running any antispyware that might be seeing LW as a threat? What security programs are you using? Have you done an AV scan lately? Did you change or update any software before LW stopped working?
