Let me fill you in a bit on my issue.
First of all, due to a home renovation project, my computer was down for three weeks. Well, the day after I get it back, I decide "hey! I think I'll download a few MP3s!" So I booted up good ol' limewire, which other than being impossibly slow is a dream come true (about 4 kbps!!). But I was frusterated, as I always am, by the slow speed, so Idecide to download Accelerator. Oops. Upon restarting my computer, my internet no longer works. my friend directed me to LSPFix, and although I trust him, I want more than one opinion on the issue. More information: My system is running Windows XP PRofessional. After rebooting my PC to end the installation, my internet no longer works, at all, and my computer refuses to talk with my Linux-based firewall (Smoothwall to be specific) in my basement. I write this on another PC.

Feel free to laugh at me maniacly, but please do help me resolve this issue...

I did the same thing I uninstalled the accelerator and I ran Spybot-search and destroy and it cleared it right up
