Help

I downloaded a basic version of Limewire, and now I cannot get it to connect. I even had trouble getting it to download, so I had to download the offline version. My firewalls are down. I have windows XP and a 100mbps connection with CC Resnet. Im at college right now, but I have a connection in my room, so I do not share my computer with anyone else, but I guess the line is shared.
