Is anyone going to help me or not? Please help me? |
I'll Try What Do You Need Help With? |
I posted earlier, and no one said anything. Here's what's wrong: I downloaded a basic version of Limewire, and now I cannot get it to connect. I even had trouble getting it to download, so I had to download the offline version. My firewalls are down, I checked. I have windows XP and a 100mbps connection with CC Resnet. Im at college right now, but I have a connection in my room, so I do not share my computer with anyone else, but I guess the line is shared. So, I have no idea what the problem is. |
Ok Here's A Suggestion Try Downloading It Again And Downloading Java If Not Yet Downloaded Then Without The Offline Version , If You Don't Have Java That Might Be The Problem , There Is A New Version Of Java Out , Limewire Uses Java . Try That And Let Me Know |
It said that I have the latest version of Java, but it still won't download the recommended version of Limewire. My computer is brand new; I've only had it a few months, and it's only been on the net about a week. |
You're College Might Prevent Stuff Like That , Some Colleges Have Certain Retstrictions On Sites And Stuff You're College Might Be On A Firewall It Might Not Have Anything To Do With You |
I don't know-I tried to download Kazaa b/c I got sick of trying to deal with this one, but Kazaa stinks, so I figure Limewire is worth the trouble. But Kazaa did work, it just doesn't have good files. |
Umm Then It's Not You're College |
Try Eraseing Limewire Off You're Pc And Then Redownloading |
I've tried it several times |
