cannot connect
 
I have read over 40 messages about why I cannot connect. It seems the easiest way to get help is to upgrade to Pro. WHY WOULD I UPGRADE TO PRO IF I CANNOT CONNECT TO BASIC?
I have tried the 'WINDOWS XP INTERNET CONNECTION FIREWALL' instructions several times and am still not getting anywhere.
I have tried every suggestion that has been posted.
If I do not recieve the help needed within the next 48 hours, I will let everyone and my mother know what a waste of time limewire really is.

We don't need your trolling on this forum thank you. We don't need your temperament thanks. Go tell your mother then. And also tell her how impolite your posting on a public forum was. We don't need ultimatums & don't care less whether you use LimeWire or any other gnutella program. That's up to you. This is a forum & we don't appreciate your type when we help on this forum for free in our own spare time.
Your answer is probably sitting on the forums but you didn't check it properly. If the problem is not your software firewall then it's probably an internal NAT firewall on your modem/router. Most high speed modems have nat firewalls. To overcome it, enable UPnP on it or else forward a port: Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link)

We wouldn't recommend anybody getting pro if they can't connect.
