Limewire on my Mac won't connect - egads!!!
 

I just installed 4.12 on my Mac. I followed the instructions for firewall issues. I tried downloading the update the site said would fix the problem on Macs but during installation it said the update could not install to my hard drive because that location did not meet all installation requirements. ??? I'm totally lost and only semi computer literate. I NEED HELP!!! thanx

Hi. It would help if we had a few more details.

Please tell us which Mac you have and which OSX and processor. (All details available by clicking the Apple>About this Mac.) Also how much free space on yourhard drive which is home to your operating system.(Start up Disc)

I think maybe the download you tried to make was the OSX 10.3.9 Java update, which was originally posted a while ago and I'm not sure is very relevant now, depending on your OSX version.

Please tell us also what problems you are having with Limewire and exactly which version (4.12.?)
