I have tried everything and i still cant connect...
 

i have checked my firewall and followed the instructions to allow gnutella to connect through and it still wont connect....then i tried deleting the whole limewire directory...i have redownloaded limewire three times now and nothing is working
i also tried configuring my norton internet security 'personal firewall' to allow limewire
the only thing i havent tried it configuring NIS to allow inbound and outbound ports to the 6346 port? im not sure how to do that and the only intructions on that that i found on this forum send me to a website that wont tell me anything?

i can only connect as far as one green bar....

please help! im in desperate need of it! :(

Perhaps the problem is your connection device. Do you have XP firewall enabled? If yes then disable it.
