lost of connection
 

i keep trying to use limewire and it works for maybe an hour but after that it loses the connection for it and my computer and i have to go reset the router its gradually been getting worse but it only loses the connection for this computer and doesnt afect any other on the home network if any1 can help plz do

Try not to use the Resume/Find Sources function on too many files at one time. Try 1-3 at a time instead.

If you're using windows XP SP2 you might be interested in seeing this MS & 3rd party patches

Also, do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface?

yah theres a brick wall there and im only trying to download stuff one at a time cause i thought tht might help

Did you configure your XP firewall? Have a look at the 2 posts here Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link) This may be semi-related to your problem, although it might not be. But I need some more details as described in post 2 of the link. ;) :)
