Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

![]() So here is the situation now: Limewire listening port: set to 64049 Router config. Manual port forwarding - set to 64049 (i also tried use UpNp) Windows firewall: Advanced settings for local area connection set to: Gnutella service (check box selected) internal and external ports both set to 64049 (for both protocols) The only other thing, is that the IP stated in the limewire connection help doesnt seem to show up after i save. i.e. - "127.0.0.1" It seems to default to the name of mhy laptop instead. Any thoughts...or have we exhausted all options at this stage. Thanks for evcerything so far....i would just love to get one over on my provider now..... |
