Help Please
 

To whome this may reach,

I have been trying to download music {basic} and every time I open my LimeWire it says "Could not create the register key." and after I push okay {only one choice.} it opens up and then it tells me that there is no active internet connection and that's wrong because I have DSL and it's always on...

Please reply soon.

I already re-did my firewall to see if it would work but still would not so I was inclined to ask for help on this forum.

Try removing your current version of Java & then reinstall JRE using the offline installer here
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

Now reinstall LW using it's offline installer (not the recommended one). You don't have to uninstall, LW will do that automatically when it installs the new version

See if that fixes things:)
