You provide way to little detail for anyone to help.

If you make a detailed description of your problem, your setup and what you tried so far, I asure you that you will get answers.

When your Limewire tries to connect are you getting any connection attempts ?

Press the connections tab:

Attachment 2904

If you don't see it then press View>Show/Hide>Connections

Attachment 2905

It should look like this:

Attachment 2903

Until:

Attachment 2906

Just kidding :) Limewire Basic will connect to 3 UltraPeers and Limewire Pro will connect to 5 (Unless running as an UltraPeer yourself.

If Limewire is totally blocked for some reason it will look like this:

Attachment 2902

Did this make any sense ??

Also like OAH said it could be your ISP blocking Limewire. And also it would help a great deal if you could tell a bit more about how you connect. Like what does your LAN card connect to and are you sharing your internet with anyone (eg. live in an apartment building)

maroon1 September 29th, 2006 02:48 PM

i get the same as the third picture where it says "connection status: leaf" and it stops their.

I don't know what is my ISP. I just called the internet provider in the place where I live. They came and they connected the caple to my computer and thats it. And I don't know if the internet is shared.

Sleepless September 29th, 2006 02:58 PM

ISP = Internet Service Provider = Internet Provider ;) Please include what country as well

Saralsk8er September 30th, 2006 06:59 AM

okay...my limewire looks like the third picture. check out my other threads, but i need some serious help here.

Sleepless September 30th, 2006 03:14 PM

@Saralsk8er

Lord of the Rings has already answered you in the other thread

Please stick to one thread.

If you wanted to post what you just posted, you could still do that in the other thread and just link to this thread

It does not help you get answers faster to post in several different places. It rather confuses people, so you get less help.

Now please go answer Lord Of The Rings questions for you in the other thread
