3. How much ram? 248 MB
4. Hard Disk space available? idk im not smart about computers. where do i find this?
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.) broadband
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? Ripwave, Navini Networks. Model number 2.5-2.6 LMX E i think...
7. Where are you trying to connect from (home, school, work, etc.)? home
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version. limewire 4.12.6 and java 1.5.0_08
9. Who is your ISP provider (Internet Service Provider)? i29
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? It says page cannot be displayed
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? no i dont think so
12. Is this a your 1st try at FW or is this a new problem with an experienced user. im a new user, i just downloaded limewire yesterday
13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of FW's interface? YES!

now with that info, can someone please help? ive gone through all the test things and inputed my listen port number and allowed gnutella to go through my windows firewall. even if i turn windows firewall completely off, the firewall is still shown. and i have one connection bar. my limewire has been running for the past 9 hours and i still only have 1 connection bar. of course i cant search for anything, cuz i have a firewall. will someone please help?

If you can't reach the test page it means that port is blocked. My guess is your connection device is responsible. If not, then your ISP. I haven't heard of your connection device brands before. What you need to do is telnet into the device & enable UPnP if it supports it. If it doesn't support UPnP then forward a port. Do you have a manual for your device?
