Issue with Limewire Pro

I am having a problem with Limewire Pro. I actually started to have this problem with basic but figured it would go away when I purchased pro. I get the turbo charged bars and while downloading I lose my connection after a few minutes. I end up powering off my router and powering back on. After a minute my bars go to turbo charged again. This is an ongoing process. I recently used the port forward and I no longer have a brick wall in front of the globe, and was hoping that was the root of the problem. Now I am not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :bangh:

How many files are you downloading at once? Reduce the number a bit. If you're resuming too many incomplete downloads it can cause problems...just resume a couple at a time.
Try disabling ultrapeer capabilities (tools > options > speed) & also disable any iTunes sharing options that you're using. You could also reduce your upload & download bandwidth a little & see if that helps.
Also try the tip below (click on link):)

Tip: Purge the Downloads Queue!

Also try the patch for XP service pack 2 in this link. It increases the number of simultaneous TCP connects. Just ignore all the warnings that windows will make pop up. You may also need to disable the antivirus on your system while patching.
