Make sure that your desktop speakers are selected within audio devices.
Go to Sounds & Audio Devices, then click on the Volume tab. Now at the bottom, click on Advanced, in the Speaker Settings part. Now the Advanced page will open & you'll see Speaker Setup...make sure that the right type of setup is selected (desktop stereo speakers if your computer's a desktop). If you have to change that setting, click Apply & ok after changing.

That's about as much as I know (never had this problem)! If that's no help, someone around here will know more...just keep an eye on this thread & bump it if nobody answers after a day or so:wink:

I am assuming you are running Windows because they recently had an update that messed up some audio drivers. First you will need to find out what audio software you are using. Unfortunately I am currently running Vista so the pictures below will not be exactly the same but close enough.

First open the control panel by clicking on start/control panel once the control panel is open look for the system icon (first picture below) if it doesn't look pretty much the same switch the control panel to classic view. Click on the system icon and select device manager. Look for sound, video controllers and expand it by clicking on the box next to it with the + sign in it (second Picture). See what your audio device is mine is Realtek AC 97.

Once you know what it is do a web search for the latest drivers for it and download them. Some will have an automatic installer with them others you may have to manually install. If you have to manually install them put the file in a folder in you documents or where ever you normally save downloads (they may need to be unzipped if so unzip them in the folder).

Now go back to the device manager and double click on your audio controller a window should pop-up click on the driver tab at the top of the window (Third Picture) then click on update driver now choose browse and go to the folder where you saved the driver and windows should install it and it should fix your problem.

Good Luck;)

Hey ok you know were it shows if you are playing a song (the little bar that moves along and when it is completely filled up then your done with the song) well it doesnt move it just stays there. No movement, im pretty sure that is not windows problem (though it may be)

Easy way to take a screenshot:

Open the page you want to capture (task manager), press the Print Screen key. Now open Paint (start > all programs > accessories > paint), click on Edit, click Paste. Now your shot should appear in Paint. Click File > save as, choose where to save it (somewhere easy to find like desktop?) as a gif or jpeg.

Then, when you want to post it as an attachment here:

Reply to the topic, click on Manage Attachments > go to where it says 'upload from computer' > browse. Find the screenshot file, open it & click Upload. When it's uploaded, close that attachments box. Go back to your reply & you should see your attachment name in the attachment section of the reply.
Now just post it:wink:
