please help me connect
 

everytime i open my limewire now it displays a message that says: Limewire was unable to intitilize and start...: i have tried taking away firewalls and i have even followed the steps in the support section but nothing seems to work. any idea of what could be wrong?:confused:

Uninstall LW and all Java versions on your system. Reboot and then download the JRE offline installer of the newest Java version from here:
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.jsp
Install it and reboot again, then reinstall LW.

I think your problem might be Java issue, so the best thing to do is to uninstall Limewire (to uninstall lW go START>Programs>Limewire>Uninstall) and all Java from your computer (for uninstalling Java go START>Control Panel>Remove Programs).The reboot your computer. Then download the latest Java version for your Operation System (i.e. Windows XP) choosing the JRE offline installer. Install this Java, restart your computer and then reinstall Limewire,.....simple like this...
