 First of all, make sure that you're only using 1 software firewall (remember that XP has it's own firewall) & that it's set up properly. If you're using XP plus another firewall, disable the XP one. Do this test & see if it works http://www3.limewire.com:6346 Read through this thread, it has heaps of info. It's not too complicated, just go through it slowly. Connection problems? Check here first! Most routers have their own firewall, sometimes that's the problem. So you need to read the bits about enabling UPnP & port forwarding.
