That guy's problem was due to 2 routers... as far as we know, you're only going through a cable modem. Do you use a router as well? If you do, give us the make & model.

Hehehe, might be getting somewhere now:wink:
Just remember though, if there is some throttling from your ISP, getting rid of the firewall problem's not going to magically make your speeds jump up!
First of all try enabling UPnP within the router. Once you've done that, within LW go tools > options > advanced > firewall config. Check the 'use UPnP' option & apply. You might have to give it a while before the firewall icon goes away. If you're not sure about how to enable UPnP, have a look through the link below.

If enabling UPnP doesn't work, you could try port forwarding. Click on the link below for a guide. Don't forget to set up a static IP address first, you'll see a link for that within the guide. Once port forwarding's in place, again give LW some time to settle down & wait to see if the firewall icon goes away.

i tried both ways and when i get somewhere i already see that my router has already been done.. i mean like when i did the d-link thing the UpNp thing was already enabled.... so if my router is already configured so why is the brick still there

If UPnP's not working, double check the way that you set up port forwarding. those portforward.com guides are normally really good. Did you set up a static IP first? Otherwise p/f won't work. Did you make sure to 'save & reboot' if that's part of your router's instructions? If you're using p/f now rather than UPnP, restart LW...see if the wall goes away.
Remember that the listening port & port you've forwarded have to be the same number.
