![]() i though this was suposed to be the official tech help site i posted a need for assistance 2 days ago and not one of the moderators could find the time to help?????? what is the advantage of purchasing this package if you cannot get the problems fixed and be able to use lw. is there a phone number to contact your company to talk to somebody to get this issue resolved? since the moderators cannot find the time in their busy day to assist me with this problem. |

![]() To ellaborate on that, this is not the official Limewire Help Forum. There is no official forum, only tech support by email. The most likely reason that noone has answered yet is your connection (Sattelite). Noone here uses that and from what I hear, those ISP's that offer sattelite don't like Limewire very much. Another reason could be some sort of blocking program on your PC. Even PeerGuardian2 may be a culprit in some cases, but usually not when there is no other firewall running. Try Googling your ISP for similar cases or search here for other threads involving sattelite. Just search for the word sattelite or satelite Here's one example and there are a lot more like it: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...light=satelite Last edited by Sleepless; October 23rd, 2006 at 07:22 PM. |

![]() In limewire Go to Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Firewall Config Tell us what settings you use there Also check your user manual for info on the modem. Like if there might be a firewall etc. in it. I searched the net for similar cases and only found one (Which btw had no fix). Very few posts deal with any issues with that modem. Also have you installed any software lately that can cause a firewall like block? |
