I'm new to LimeWire, so I hope this isn't something easy and stupid.

Here goes:
LimeWire will not connect. The GUI shows "Enabling Open Information Sharing(Disconnected/ no files available) at the top

1. Mac OSX 10.4.8
2. I have turned the Firewall under system preferences, Sharing OFF
3. 1.5 GB
4. 40+GB
5. Cable
6. modem=Toshiba pcx2600, also using airport express
7. Home
8. 3.3.5, Lime wire doesn't show java version, Safari is on 1.4.2
9. Roadrunner (Time Warner)
10. My test worked
11. No
12. 1st try w/ LW, have used edonkey w/ FW's, port mapping, etc.
13. Yes, I see a brick wall

3.3.5 Limewire. That is prehistoric.. Are you sure that is right? where did you get it from? You should have 4.12.6 from www.limewire.com Also your Java should I think be updated ... are you using a Power PC or Intel Mac I cannot recall off hand if there is a difference regarding java requirements.

Updating the version solved the problem. I followed an outdated link from another site and was searching for all other possible solutions except the obvious.
