Default Connection Dies

Maybe someone can help me out. My internet connection is fine untill I start Limewire, then it just dies, I can close out Limewire and I still have this same problem. The only way that I can get an active internet connection, after LimeWire is active, is if I shut down the computer and turn off the DSL connection.

Go to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>Speed & disable Ultrapeer capabilities. Also disable OOB searching. Options>Downloads & reduce speed to about 75%. Options>Uploads & reduce upload speed to 75%. Disable iTunes sharing, Options>iTunes>sharing & disable option.

The the brick wall is not caused by your software firewall, then it's either your connection devices or your ISP.

Try the tips here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showpo...85&postcount=2 & also steps 2, 3 & 5 here Fixes for Limewire
