KB Stuff???
 

I'm pretty sure this is in the right category but if it isnt, please forgive me, im new to the forum stuff.

Well I cant download a single thing on limewire because my download rate is flat out zeroes. Example- (Down arrow) 0 @ 0 KB's // (up arrow) 0 @ 0 KB's

Any Ideas what my problem is, or if i have a weird firewall or something??

The arrow pointing down is what you are downloading and the speed it is going, so it will stay at zero if you are not downloading anything...The arrow pointing up is what you are uploading, which means what people are downloading from you and if that's at zero that means no-one is downloading from you....

Have you tried downloading anything yet??

well I try downloading stuff, but it just sits there and says "Connecting..."

then if it changes, it just says Need more sources, and when i search for sources, it does nothing, and when it says awaiting sources, i get nothing.

sooo i thought the KB stuff had something to do with it

No they would be fake files, there are so many flooding the network...This link will give you some good info on how to avoid them and how to get good search results....:rolleyes_2:

So, If the files i want to download are fake, do i just wait until some real ones are in there to download?

Rather, if i dont need to wait, how can i find the best download possible? (Again, sorry if its in that link you gave me, i didnt see how to find good audio files in that link, maybe i didnt look hard enough.)
