can't get connected

2. What firewalls you have? windows firewall on.....secureIT off, windows firewall allows limewire
3. How much ram? 640
4. Hard Disk space available? 19gb
5. Connection type? DSL
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? paradyne6381-A3-200
7. Where are you trying to connect from? Home
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? Limewire 4.12.6 Java 5.0 update 10
9. Who is your ISP provider? Western Iowa Networks
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? could not displat page
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? yes...bearshare
12. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user. 1st try...had problems getting limewire to begin with
13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface? yes


Have read through other peoples problems on here. Have tried using different port number...didn't work. Had trouble getting limewire downlaoded and Lord of the Rings helped with that. What should I do now......not very experienced with computers but trying. Please help!!!!

Does BearShare work no problem?

And are you trying to run both at the same time?

Are you trying to connect using UPnP or do you use Portforwarding?

Under the connections tab (If you can't see it, then go to View-->Connections and it should be visible) do you see UPs trying to connect?

Also have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting Limewire after a while? (Go to File-->Disconnect and then after 10-20 seconds Connect)

I was trying to run bearshare and limewire at the same time, didn't realize I was still logged onto bearshare while trying to connect to limewire.
Thanks again
