Help: Everytime I try to do a search, nothing ever happens!
 

I am new to limewire Basic. Everytime I try to do a search, nothing ever happens. I have been searching for 1 song for the past 3 hours and nothing happens. What do I do?

Please answer the 2nd link I gave you. It's difficult for me to advise without that information ;)

Ok so you simply can't connect to the network. Something is blocking the port that LW uses. Most likely your modem/router. Probably your boss / network manager has blocked some ports.
1. Go to the Control panels & find the xp firewall & configure it as described Firewall configuration instructions (click on link)

2. Open LW, go to LW's menu bar, select Tools > Options > Advanced > Firewalls & change both connection & listening ports to 64049
