I can't connect and nothing seems to help!

I've spent 2 days looking through this forums and I've tried everything that was said to try. Nothing has helped! I found the below in another thread and filled it out.

1. OS version? (eg: Windows 98) Windows XP
2. What firewalls you have? Macafee and Windows
3. How much ram? 512mb
4. Hard Disk space available? a lot.
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.) Broadband
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? Linksys WRT54G v5
7. Where are you trying to connect from (house, appartment complex, school, student accomodation, work, etc.)? House.
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version. LW 4.6.12 Java 1.50_10
9. Who is your ISP provider (Internet Service Provider)? Firefox.
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? It Says "The connection has timed out."
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up. No.
12. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user. This is the first time I've used it.
13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface? Yes.

Can somebody help me?

Don't use 2 firewalls at once, it will cause problems. Disable the Windows firewall & configure McAfee for LW.

Your ISP is your internet service provider...who do you pay for your internet use? Once we know who your ISP is, we can give you some more info about other things to try:)

Duh! I don't know what I was thinking! I use Alltel.
BTW I've already tried disabling the Windows firewall and just using McAfee but I just get 1 green bar. Thanks.

You could try port forwarding for your router, that should at least get rid of the firewall icon. Find your router from the list below & then choose LW from the list of programs. Don't forget to set up a static IP first. When it comes time to choose the port number for forwarding, choose 64049 & also change LW's listening port to that same number.

And if that doesn't help, read Aaron's posts about Alltel & AT&T in this thread.

I just tried that and still no good! I get only 1 green bar. I'm out of ideas of what could be wrong. Any other ideas?
