Help!!!!conection problem and have tried everything
 

when i searched for a set of results i get the lw is currently connecting to the network. Your search may not return with many results until you are fully connected to the network.the search is returning with no results and this even after i have been running the program for serval hours and my firewall says that i have allowed lw to run. I have tried everything in the help documents so anyone got any solutions.

I am running on Windows Xp, using norton internet sercurity and I am using limeWire 4.12.6

Start off by making sure you're only using 1 software firewall (turn off the XP firewall & configure the Norton firewall).

i can only answer a few questions i am not using any othe p2p program. I have used limewire before and had no problems but that was on another computer and different internet service provider. Finally i had already tryed use the support pages and they have not helped

I have found that on the connections page of my limewire that after a while it goes blank.

You really need to answer the questions Birdy has asked ??

Please provide this information as there is no exact solution to these sorts of problems as everybodies set up's are different...
