| Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

 Starhub do shape p2p... http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showpo...91&postcount=8 ...so maybe changing ports would help. In LW go tools > options > advanced > firewall config. Change LW's listening port to 64049 > apply > ok. You could also try port forwarding for your router. Follow the directions here http://www.portforward.com/english/r...G/Limewire.htm and don't forget to set up a static IP address first. You'll see instructions in that link. Port forwarded thru a router must be the same number as LW's listening port!! See how that goes. I don't know how much Starhub's network was effected by the Taiwan earthquake...some places are still having major problems with internet so maybe that has something to with it as well   |
