Default READ THIS - for Updated 4.12.10 Now Connecting

I had version prior to 4.12.10 and upgraded this morning ready to buy Pro. Now when I try to run LW i get the following message: "LW is unable to initialize and start, probably due to a Firewall blocking LW access to internet or loopback connections on local machine..."

It was running fine, now after the upgrade, it's fubar. The execptions are in the FW and even when the FW is diabled, its not connecting. Use AOL 9 (but not to connect to 'net), even with the previous version, so I rule out the AOL issue.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated... Thanks... Keith

Default Java Update and a Reboot Does the Trick!!

An Online Java update, 5.0 - Update 10 and reboot seems to have done the trick. LW version 4.12.10 is working great now!

Thanks for letting us know...so the offline install didn't help but the online one did?? It's usually the offline installer that seems to work better

The installation of 4.12.10 seems to revert all settings within options to default. So make sure that you go back through & reset things to the way you had them in the previous version.
