D-Link Firewall issue

Greetings,

My version of LimeWire pro is being blocked by my D-Link router. It's a DI-604 and I have been so far unsuccessful in finding a way to disable that blasted firewall.

If I wanted a firewall running I would be using Zone Alarm, not that d-link crap. Anyone know how I can disable the firewall on this thing? Or at the very least how to make an exception for LimeWire so it will stop blocking it?

I apologize if this is a often asked question. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

wondering why January 30th, 2007 04:33 PM

Here are the instructions for Port Forwarding your DI-604
http://www.portforward.com/english/r...4/Limewire.htm

Make sure you follow them closely otherwise if you miss anything out it won't work....:rolleyes_2:

I'll check it out. I appreciate it. :)

I appreciate your attempt at assistance but I had already tried what was listed in the thread you linked. Thanks for trying though!

That guide to setting up the router was exactly what I needed wondering why. It worked like a charm. I greatly appreciate it.

Edit: Typo.
