Currently connecting, what's this?
 

I downloaded LW today and was downloading just fine for a few hours, I go to search for another artist and I get a message that says "LW is currently connecting to the network your search may not return many results until you are fully connected to the network". Now what is this all about? Sorry if this is a straight newb question.

It means you're not properly connected. Perhaps you were over-working LW too much & it affected LW's connection. Such as using the Resume button on all incomplete files. This can have side-fx such as affect LW's connection quality. May queue your files for much much longer. This will also stress LW & your comp. If you use Resume/Find sources then just apply it to a couple or so at one time.

To be honest with you, I've been downloading one song at a time, my comp. is pretty bad ***, probably one of the most powerful single cores out. My comp should be able to handle it. I was multi tasking though. On the internet, playing poker, running itunes and LW. Maybe that could have been it. If you think it could possibly be something else, or know a way I can speed it back up, let me know please. Thanks dude

Maybe it's something more fundamental like a firewall not properly configured. Although you can downld, at times the firewall issue will kick in. Can you give us a bit more information; System details - help us to help you (click on link)
