 Oh yeah, one more thing that I discovered after following the steps listed above--- LW worked fine for about 2 days, then same thing, Connecting............ So, I just followed the steps again and it started working again. Its kind of frustrating, but at least I am downloading something and not just stuck on Connecting..... I'm just using this as a temporary fix until something better comes along. And Mama, my system info is almost the same as yours(if that means anything) Good luck everyone  |

The official site for downloading LW is www.limewire.com The official site for downloading FW is http://www.frostwire.com If you paid for FrostWire you have been scammed, FrostWire is free Call your bank/CC company & report this. Check the 2 links below for more info. Page 5 of the first thread has a list of scam sites. Membership? - **BEWARE** - Download p2p Clients ONLY Thru Official Sites (click on link) get your $$$ BACK!!! (music members) What 'accessories' did you get? Some antispyware? Accelerator? I wouldn't bother using whatever it is...chances are that it's very crappy & will be of little or no use. You could also find that there's associated spy/adware. My advice would be to get the whole lot off your computer! |

| Bye-Bye LW I gave up on LW and installed Bearshare. Its working great--for now anyway You can download it for FREE at www. bearshare.com I still kept my LW installer just in case it decides to start working again. Take care everyone |
