Need advise on connection issue if possible please
 
I have purchased limewire from the limewire site 2 times in the past for the price of $18.00 and I have never had a problem with the upgrades or the program itself. Then tuesday I discovered it would not connect, then I noticed another upgraded version was available and I thought by purchasing the upgrade would then allow a connection so I clicked the link that said "an upgrade is now available", upgraded to the LW4.12 and still now connection. We only used the LW estimatedly once or twice a week so I just don't know what has happened. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. I am just puzzled how it worked one day and then just wouldn't connect the next.
I have noticed from other postings on this site that you will need the following information to help me if you can so I am going to go ahead and post that information as follows to the questions in the sticky.
1. XP with sp2
2. windows firewall (I have tried turning it off in order to connect, that effort was not helpful in gaining a connection)
3.1GB ram
4. 41.3 GB hard disk space available
5.DSL
6.router I think--Westel model# 890-210014-04
7.home
8.LW version 4.12 Java version 1.5.0 (I did follow a link I found her and downloaded a version 6 and installed it but it doesn't show in the limewire that I have.
9.ISP is Centurytel (a local phone company)
10.I did the test but the page opened saying no connection
11.no other computers connected to internet
12.I have had limewire for many years the bought version for $18.00 and it was purchased from the limewire site at the time and it has worked wonderful for years then suddenly it wouldn't connect so I purchased the up grade to the new pro version 4.12 and still that did not fix the connection problem. I did email the support site yesterday evening but have not recieved a response. I am hoping someone here can help me with this issue.

Called ISP they checked router/motem has no firewall, turned off xp firewall and Trend mico PC-cillin firewall, still didn't work. Created a port for the listening port#, still didn't work. downloaded the JRE6 so limewire now recognizes that I did that, that didn't work either.
Deleted and redownloaded limewire that still didn't work.
Is limewire having connection problems?
HELP !!!
Still haven't gotten a reply from the email to support for limewire.
