Question Connection Problems, please help!

Down at the bottom limewire says it is "starting connection". When you go to search it states that I am not all the way connected. What am I doing wrong? Please help me figure this out, I even bought the Pro. I tried disabiling the firewall and nothing. I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks for your time, Scott

1. OS version? Windows XP Media Edition
2. What firewalls you have? Windows firewall, no virus protection instaled
3. How much ram? 1G
4. Hard Disk space available? 120G
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.) Cable (timewarner)
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? Modem: Timewarner cable Model#:U10C018, router: Netgear WGT 624 v3
7. Where are you trying to connect from (house, appartment complex, school, student accomodation, work, etc.)? House
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version. 4.12.11 Pro
9. Who is your ISP provider (Internet Service Provider)? Timewarner Cable
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? Your Test Worked
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up. No
12. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user. First time user with pro, but had basic for years
13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface? I saw a brick wall infront of the world, even with the firewall disabled.

Default Connection Problems

Ya, I know it is bad not to have a virus protection. It is a new computer and I am waiting for the virus protection to come in the mail. In the mean time I will download one you recomended. I went through the process of forwarding the port, but it still says I am behind a firewall, and limewire still wont connect. I have tried many different ports between 40000 and 60000. I set up a static IP address. What am I doing wrong. Please help. Thanks for your time and effort

Did you set LimeWire to use the same port that you set the router to use.
